Participation Qualification
Idea-Tops is open to the global architecture and interior design community, and has no restrictions on ethnicity, religion, region or nationality. Entries must be completed projects done in current year or last year. The submission must provide realistic photos. Besides, group work must mark the name of the chief designer.
Procedure
(1). Submission Period:June 1 st to December 31 st
(2). Shortlist Judging: Idea-Tops Organizing Committee arranges the Jury to review all the entries and select those which meet the basic standards to enter the next round of judging. (If the Idea-Tops Division is authorized to evaluate the entries, it can organize the first review and select Shortlist Awards and Best Design Awards in its local area.)
(3). Nomination Judging: 5 top projects can be chosen as nominated works in each category; every nominee receives a Certificate and a Medal, and enters the final judging.
(4). Final Judging: 1 winner can be chose from the 5 nominees in each category; every winner receives a Certificate and a Trophy.
(5). Awarding Ceremony: April 26 th
(6). Publication of Year Book: The first half of next year
Participation Guidelines
1. Sign up at the official website of Idea-tops (www.idea-tops.com) or its media platform—China Interior Design Website (http://en.a963.com/);
2. Login and fill in personal/company information (please make sure the information is real and complete, so that the organizer is able to contact you);
3. Release works and choose "Participate in the Idea-Tops Award";
4. Pay entry fee online (150 USD per entry).
Competitors must provide:
1) The Application From of International Space Design Award—Idea-Tops;
2) No less than 10pcs realistic photos per entry (JPG, TIF, PSD or CDR, the resolution should be at least 300 dpi);
3) Floor plan and other related drawings which can show the features of the entry;
4) Text description of design concept;
5) Photos of participants or groups (the resolution should be at least 300 dpi).
The organizer will inspect all the submitted materials, for those which are incomplete, incorrect or unqualified will be deemed into invalid, and the organizer has the right to disqualify such participants from the competition. Participants should select the space category carefully when submitting projects, if a participant cannot determine the category, he/she can confirm with the organizer. If the category is incorrect, the organizer has the right to deal with it according to its own decision (including but not limited to disqualify the participant).

Shopping mall, exclusive shop, retail store, hair salon, bookstore and so on.
School, church, museum, music hall, theater and other cultural and educational public places.
Exhibition hall, product display area which is different from the retail store, publicity area, including real estate sales center, temporary showroom, etc.
Airport, terminal, railway station, bus station and other public building spaces.
Various types of office spaces, including company headquarter, business place of financial institution, small office building, etc.
Themed restaurant, specialty restaurant, chain restaurant and other eating and drinking places.
Various types of bars, nightclubs and other places of entertainment.
Various types of hotels, such as business hotel, boutique hotel, themed hotel, discounted hotel, city hotel, resort hotel and so on. The hotel should include guest rooms, lobby, cafe, etc.
All leisure places, such as spa, club, etc.
Luxurious country house, townhouse, mansion, single-family residential space.
Apartment, economically affordable housing.
A flat that is decorated and furnished for prospective buyers to view.
Furniture, soft furnishing, decorative painting and artistic ornament, etc.
Design works which are excellent in lighting design.
Office building, commercial facility, hotel building, cultural facility, educational facility, scientific research facility, sports facility and other public architectures.
A building used for dwelling, including single family house, townhouse, low-rise apartment, middle-rise apartment, high-rise apartment, etc.
Architectures which can maximally save resources (conserve energy, land, water and materials), protect the environment, reduce pollution, provide people with healthy, suitable and efficient space, and coordinate harmoniously with nature.
Various types of new architectures which use the digital technology to work on design, production, construction, management and other fields.
